Mainstreaming Sustainable Design (2008)

Mainstreaming Sustainable Design is an 88-page research thesis I wrote during my senior year at Miami University. The paper explores the role that architecture plays in the environment, and offers suggestions as to how sustainable architectural design can be "mainstreamed," to make it the default method of designing buildings.
The process of writing the paper taught me a great deal about managing long-term projects, in addition to sharpening my editing and my time-management skills. Many late nights at the library taught me that there is no substitute for good planning and the willpower to stick to it. |
